There are many ways to cook plantain snacks, you can fry them and make plantain chips, bake or boil them.

This recipe will show you how to fry them.

Prepare the plantains

Peel the plantain and cut them to your desired shape.

Preheat oil

Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or a normal frying pan over a medium to high heat. You should aim to use just enough to oil the pan a bit more than if you were to fry an egg.

Fry the plantains

Fry the plantain on both sides until golden brown. Drain the excess oil off with a paper towel.
