Directions
Irish moss gel can be added to many foods and it works very well as a thickener. From this gel I will show you to make a variety of different Irish Moss recipes and treats.

4-6 hours

Soak the Irish mossSoak the dried Irish moss overnight for about 4-6 hours. |

Rinse the Irish mossOnce soaked and re-hydrated rinse it thoroughly. |

5-10 minutes

Blend itAdd the Irish moss and 1 cup of water to a blender. Adding less water will make a thicker gel the amount can be varied. Let it blend for a few minutes. It may take a while for it to gel up. Continue until you get a gel |

Add Star Anise and GrapeseedI like to add a dash of star anise and a teaspoon of grape seed oil (optional). |
